Privacy Policy
In short: we only collect what you type into our forms, plus the minimum technical data needed to keep the Site secure. We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. We never sell your information. We share it only as needed to answer you and fill your order.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how FuzzyCon ("we," "us") handles personal information on fuzzycon.com (the "Site"), at FuzzyCon events and through the FuzzyCon Card Shop. Questions or requests: fuzzy@fuzzycon.com.
2. What we collect
| Source | Information |
|---|---|
| Card Shop order form | Name, email, company (optional), notes (optional), quantity ordered, the order number we assign, and your agreement to our Terms and this policy. |
| Join the Fuzzy Team form | Name, email, X or Telegram handle (optional), how you'd like to help, and your message. |
| Emails you send us | Whatever you choose to include. |
| Security features | A session cookie (fz_sid) that holds the security-check code for the forms. It's strictly necessary, contains no personal details and is deleted when you close your browser. We also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour to limit spam submissions. |
| Our web host | Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability. |
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media trackers or third-party captcha services. Payment details are never entered on the Site. They are handled through the official Fuzzycards order portal and its payment providers.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your order request, send your wholesale quote and arrange fulfillment.
- To answer "Join the Fuzzy Team" messages and plan future FuzzyCon events.
- To keep business, tax and order records.
- To protect the Site from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be added.
4. Who we share it with
- Order fulfillment: the Fuzzycards order portal operator and its production, payment and shipping partners receive the details needed to invoice, pack and ship your order.
- Service providers: our web host and email provider store and transmit form submissions and messages for us.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of FuzzyCon, our community or others.
- Business changes: if FuzzyCon is reorganized or transferred, records may move to the successor under this policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How long we keep it
- Order requests and order records: up to 7 years, for tax and business records.
- "Join the Fuzzy Team" messages: up to 24 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Rate-limit records: up to 1 hour. Security-check session: until you close your browser.
6. How we protect it
The Site uses HTTPS encryption throughout. Form submissions are stored in a private folder that cannot be reached from the web. Access is limited to people running FuzzyCon. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if required by law after a breach.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose, by emailing fuzzy@fuzzycon.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as completed orders, where the law requires it. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights. We will honor them as required, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
8. Age requirement
The Site, our events and our products are intended for adults. Orders require you to be 18 or older, and FuzzyCon I is 21+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Where your information is processed
FuzzyCon is based in Georgia, USA. Our hosting, email and fulfillment providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries' data-protection laws may differ from yours.
10. Other sites
Links to Luma, X, Telegram, xrp.cafe, Fuzzycards, the order portal and community card shops lead to sites with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do. If a change is significant, we will note it on the Site.
